Singaporean Man Demands Authentic 1960s Cholera With Heritage Porridge
Local food enthusiast Clement Tan has filed a formal complaint against a Michelin-starred hawker for "reckless hygiene."
Tan claims the stall’s failure to include a visible layer of decades-old grime on the bowls ruined his "nostalgic journey."
"Walao, the floor so clean I can see my face, how to eat?" Tan remarked while weeping over a bowl of MSG-free soup.
"Last time my grandfather eat, he got diarrhea for three days, that is the true taste of independence, leh."
The government has responded by proposing a ‘Heritage Filth’ certification for stalls that refuse to wash woks since 1965.
This initiative aims to satisfy Singaporeans who equate food quality with the probability of imminent organ failure.
"If I don't feel the salmonella tickling my throat, the nostalgia just isn't there," added local resident Auntie Bee.
